Communications Director
Nathan first started organizing after volunteering doing humanitarian work on the US-Mexico border. He brings a passionate belief in the power of storytelling to create change. He had conducted workshops and trainings on offline and online storytelling across the country. Nathan Ryan joined the staff of Grassroots Collaborative in the fall of 2013. As Communications Director, Nathan has worked to expand the strategic communications of Grassroots Collaborative and develop grassroots spokespeople able to speak to the impact of Wall Street and wealthy elites on their communities. Prior to joining Grassroots Collaborative Nathan was the Online Advocacy Manager at the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights.
