Join the Fight For Child Care Funding
Trump is freezing billions in child care funding to Illinois and four other states, which could be devastating for providers and families.
We need more investment in programs that support children and families–not less. These cuts to child care funding could lead to reduced hours and closures, and they could drive experienced providers out of the field, making it even harder for families to find safe, affordable care.
Sign on below to fight for the children we care for and their futures.
Fight Back, Fight Forward / ¡No te dejes y lucha de frente!
Donald Trump and the Republicans passed a law that pays for mass deportations and tax breaks for billionaires by taking away Medicaid for 11 million people.
We’re call their bill what it really is: “The Big Ugly Bill.” They are also stripping workers at the Veterans Administration of their union rights. We’re not falling for divide and conquer tactics. We’re going to demonstrate solidarity. We’re going to fight for better lives for everyone – no matter our race, our immigration status, or who we love.
Sign up for regular updates and ways to get involved in our Fight Back, Fight Forward Campaign.

Tell them to respect the rights and dignity of all people!

The Story of the League of Revolutionary Black Workers
1901 W Carroll, Chicago, IL
Motown and the Making of Working-Class Revolutionaries offers a fresh perspective on class, race, and revolution in the United States. Drawing on more than forty hours of interviews with former members of the League of Revolutionary Black Workers, Scott and katz-fishman share the rich story of the League, including the women and students. That story includes the history of the automotive industry in Detroit, the 1967 Detroit Rebellion, and the wildcat strike that sparked the Dodge Revolutionary Union Movement (DRUM). The authors describe the rise of the League from 1968 to 1971. They explore the centrality of struggle and political education as the League split and a section of League comrades moved into revolutionary organizations and social movement spaces, many of which remain active today. League comrades share their analysis of the current moment and staying the course of revolutionary struggle.Thu, February 26

Be part of something bigger—something essential for our future. Change can only come from individuals like you joining with others and developing the skills to sow leadership throughout our city, state and nation as we build for a massive day of resistance on May 1.
