    Chicago Creatives
    for Justice

    Our Chicago Creatives for Justice arts fellowship launched in 2022, grounded in the belief that creative power is essential to movement power. We know campaigns don’t win on facts alone—that’s why we’re building a space that moves hearts, builds power, and sustains long-term change.

    Through a 10-week program, artists are paired with active movement campaigns, where they apply their creative skills to real-time organizing. Fellows gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and deeper connections to movement work, while campaigns benefit from fresh cultural strategies and tools.

    Fellows leave with confidence, skills, and community. Campaigns gain creative tools that make their organizing stronger. And GC demonstrates that investing in artists builds collective capacity for justice.
